E = ENERGY
How much energy do you have and how do you re-energise yourself? Have a watch of this video...
This is all about how committed you are to what your project/task/goal is, and how much time you have for it and whether you are going to make it a priority for yourself.
This could be anything, only you will know what it is. It could be that you like the fresh air, doing exercise, reading, meditation, seeing friends, sleeping! Whatever it is that you need to do to re-charge your batteries so that you can keep your energy resources topped up so you can keep going when hit a bump in the road, or the finish line of your goal seems a long way away.
This is all about building good habits into your routine. If you like exercise, you might want to set aside 1/2 hour each day for a walk, a run or visit the gym. If you enjoy reading, perhaps build blocks of time in your week to settle down for a good read. And if being with others, friends, re-energises you, make those arrangements and get dates set in your diary and make a commitment to those people so you have this to look forward to and it doesn't get pushed on the back burner if you're too busy.
This is all about how worthy your goal is. How invested you are in what you are trying to achieve; how hungry you are for success. Check in with yourself if you are using the excuse of 'I haven't got time for this'; we will always find time for something we are excited, enthusiastic and energised about. So if you are are scoring anywhere below and '8', you might want to check if you are really committed to this. There's always the option to go back to Step 1 and really scrutinise if this is what you want to be doing and focusing your time and energy on.
But guess what? There's a little bit extra for you to do, something that's going to make what you're trying to achieve even more of a success.
